We are physical, emotional, mental and spiritual beings. In my multidimensional being, I know I am improving physically only when I am engaging and developing my “multiple intelligence” which consists of; body-mind, insight – rationality, emotions – logic, and finding a sense of rhythm and harmony among the interdependent parts of my body.

Holistic training is all about engaging the mind with the specific parts of the body, and finding a sense of rhythm and harmony among the interdependent parts of the mind, body and emotions. With the conscious movement patterns, we learn to listen to our bodies during and after the exercise and find out which movements energize, relax, and strengthen us as a whole.

When training my muscles, if I have imbalances and weaknesses in one part, all the other parts will be affected and try to compensate. And that’s when the pain and injuries show up, just as the imbalances of physical, emotional and spiritual parts of us affect our overall health and give us mental or physical pain. Most of the times we experience similar issues when we separate physical training from mindful training.

By embracing a sustainable holistic training routine, being active becomes a lifestyle instead of something you have to do. When you learn to take control of the muscles of your body and mind, you start to take control of your life… You create the motivation and mindset to eat right, train smart and manage stress. And the new person you have become doesn’t only have a nice body and more energy but achieves a total well-being.

In Holistic Training weight loss, toned body or wider shoulders are only the side effects of a proper training and disciplined routines, not the ultimate goal. That’s why it’s even more fascinating to meet your new better looking self in the mirror, when you have been only focusing on feeling better physically and emotionally, and following the right patterns for the needs of your whole being.
